In the final weeks of her grandmother’s life, they spent their days side by side, watching classic films and soaking in the lush, emotional scores that defined that era. One of the last movies they shared was Pillow Talk with Doris Day and Rock Hudson, a simple moment that crystallized into a turning point. After her grandmother passed, Ashley realized that the warmth, elegance, and sincerity of that movie‑music was exactly what she felt was missing from so much of modern pop.

Drawing from that world, she developed a signature style rooted in jazz‑inflected melodies and Latin percussion, reimagined through a contemporary pop lens.
